Jason Scappaticci Zoom History Lecture- “Lost New York” Tuesday, November 17, 2020 -6:30 P.M.

November 17, 2020: 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm EST

Jason Scappaticci, free Zoom Lecture, Lost New York, – Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at 6:30 PM.

New York City is noted for its historic architecture. Unfortunately, many landmarks have fallen victim to the wrecking ball in the name of progress. Did you ever see the lost Pennsylvania Station? Do you know about the Cornelius Vanderbilt II New York Mansion, one of the largest homes ever built in the United States? Did you know that the current Madison Square Garden is actually the fourth venue to bear that name?

Zoom with us and join us for a tour of some of New York City’s most famous demolished landmarks.

Jason Scappaticci earned his BA in History from Utica College and his MA from Trinity College in American Studies.

This program will be given through Zoom and is free to all. Registration is not necessary. For the Zoom link to this program please see below, or phone the library at 203-888-3903.

This program is hosted by the Adult Program Department
